Help! I'm recording my first podcast tomorrow and the imposter syndrome is real

I never thought I’d say this but… I’m launching a podcast.

I adore writing. It will always be my true love.

But I also love telling people’s stories and shining a spotlight on real women and real talk.

And sometimes, I wish you could sit in on the conversations I have when I’m interviewing amazing women in my day job.

So here we are.

There is too much BS in this world at the moment and I think there’s space for something unpretentious, that’s not about personal branding, levelling up or growth.

Oh , and I’m definitely not here to add to any empowerment, hustle or spirituality conversations - I love all of that - but there’s already a hell of a lot of noise around it.

Introducing: VISIBLE

The big sister of Chapter 39 who’s got her sh*t together. (Well, sort of.)

VISIBLE is a podcast that spotlights women who are doing the whole ‘ageing’ thing their way, on their own terms.

I’m going to be sharing the stories of women who’ve chosen to stop hiding, start building and living a life in full view.

Visible is where real women get real airtime.

No filters, no fluff, no buzzwords – just honest conversations about what it really means to grow, evolve and be yourself in your late 30s and beyond.

What you can expect

A space to hear stories that challenge clichés, honour the messy middle and make you feel a little less alone.

And there’s no need to go anywhere - I’ll be publishing the conversations right here on Substack as well as all the usual podcast platforms.

BUT, help me out for a minute because I’m bricking it.

Ironically I’m not a person who enjoys being ‘visible’.

But there’s something telling me to feel the fear and do it anyway…because this isn’t about me. It’s about the AMAZING list of guests I’ve got lined up and giving them an outlet to share.

It’s also about you, my audience, who I think could do with a dose of honesty and real conversation.
